A minimum of 5 sessions is recommended for NHL players. Players fill out a lengthy confidential profile. The boots, blades and fit are assessed. Also the sharpening radius, blade profile and contouring as well as footbeds are examined. After the first icetime a plan is put into action for development. Consultation with personnel from the player’s team, off-season conditioning coach or agent is often required for summer or early pre-season training. Consultation with team personnel is mandatory for all professional players requesting in-season training.
